Ana asked:

If the philosophy is the love of wisdom, what sense has love in existence?

============

Do you mean love ofexistence? If so, the love of wisdom is the love of existence if it is understood as
an impassioned pursuit of knowledge of mankind and the world. If by love in existence, you mean the
joy of being alive in this best of all possible worlds, then this differs from the love of wisdom which
involves rational activity as opposed to delighting in the pleasures of nature. But the two are not
mutually exclusive! It is wise to recognise the pleasures of nature and of being alive which is a form of
knowledge.
