Susan asked:

What is more important: health or happiness?

============

Health is a necessary condition for happiness. A condition of something is lessimportant than what it
is a condition for. But, that does not mean, that it is notimportant. So, if you think happiness is
important, you will think health is important.

Kenneth Stern

According to Aristotle (in the Nicomachean Ethics), one cannot have happiness (eudaimonia) without
good fortune. Good fortune includes having good health. I guess this implies that happiness is more
important, in that it goes beyond health.
